All-sky map
An all-sky optical image (color) was taken simultaneously with the all-sky imaging mode of the LWA1 radio telescope (contour; LWA TV). The optical image shows numerous stars and constellations, the Galactic plane, and a bright fireball observed during the 2015 Perseid meteor shower. A contour plot of the LWA1 observation at 38 MHz is overlaid showing the Galactic plane, Cygnus A, Cassiopeia A, and the radio self-emission from the fireball.
