Physics 160 Pre-Requisite Math Test: Results
62 people took the test, which was given on the first day of class (8/20/02). The average grade was 9.3/12. If you lost your test code number or wish to discuss the test, please contact me. This quiz will not affect your course grade in any way, but if you scored below an 8, your high school math skills are out of practice. You should remedy this by either a) dropping the class and taking a math refresher course or b) brushing up on your math to get up to the expected level of the class. I'll be showing you the calculus needed to solve the problems, but I'll assume you already know the prerequisite algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. (Scores posted at 9 pm, 8/20/02)
