The Optical Science and Engineering (OSE) Program at the University of New Mexico (UNM) is jointly administered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy (PandA) and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (EECE). It offers both the M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Optical Science and Engineering. Currently, 30 faculty members participate and more than 60 graduate students are enrolled.

Sanjay Krishna is chosen as the School of Engineering's next UNM Regents' Lecturer (2009) - more

Steve Brueck is the plenary speaker at the European Optical Society 3rd Topical Meeting on Optical Microsystems (OµS '09) held in Capri, Italy on September 27-30, 2009. Professor Brueck will be speaking on "Imaging Interferometric Microscopy - Resolution to the Linear Systems Limits". More details on the meeting can be found at the conference website here.
